LSU holds orientation sessions for Transfer Students the week before classes start each semester and one session during the summer for students transferring in the fall. The orientation starts with a general welcoming, after which students meet with counselors, have their completed course work evaluated for degree credit, and schedule courses for the upcoming semester.
