*Current LSU Computing Policy supports Windows XP Professional. Vista will not be supported until at least Spring 2010. While you may choose Vista, you do so at your risk.

If you are unable to purchase a laptop pre-loaded with Windows XP Professional, you may download and install Windows XP Professional from Tigerware. Instructions for this process are found here.

Mac Specs: Any Intel-based Mac with at least 1GB memory is sufficient. 2+GB of memory is recommended

Any required software that is Windows-only can be run very efficiently using emulation software such as Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, and SUN VirtualBox (free download from Tigerware)


Software
