K-12 Programs
Summer Science Adventures
Since the summer of 2004, the College of Engineering has hosted or co- hosted science and engineering camps for K-5 elementary students. The programs are different every year. Most include introduction to the various science and math concepts used in the different types of engineering majors offered at LSU. All of the camps have included a trip to LSU to explore labs and meet scientist and engineers on campus.
Camp is now being cohosted with "LSU Outreach".
We are offering 5th and 6th grade programs, as well as programs for 7th and 8th graders.
