Senior Checkout for Graduation

Prior to the semester in which you are scheduled to graduate, a degree audit is sent to your department to certify which graduation requirements have been met and which ones are still remaining. You and your faculty advisor will review this audit, and your advisor will sign the document. Engineering majors will also be given a link to an online senior survey to complete. The survey is the EBI Engineering Exit Study by ABET to compare LSU engineering programs with other ABET programs. Next you must bring the signed audit to a counselor in the dean's office for further review and additional signatures. An Application for Degree form will be completed at this time. The entire process must be completed one semester before the graduation semester to ensure that you will be included on the final graduation list. If a student has not completed senior checkout by the time scheduling begins, then the student will not be allowed to schedule.
