Admission to the College of Engineering
Center for the Freshman Year Students
These students will be admitted to the college if they meet the following conditions:
- have declared an engineering or construction management major
- attempted 30 or more semester hours of credit in courses numbered 1000 or above
- LSU and overall GPA of 2.0 or better
- C grade or better in MATH 1550
Do You Meet these Requirements?
- YES...You will be automatically admitted into the college.
- NO...You must enter UCAC (Center for Counseling and Advising) or another college until you meet the requirements.
Construction Management Courses
Students must be enrolled in their declared senior college before scheduling any CM courses above CM 2121.
Students from other colleges at LSU
Students from other colleges at LSU will be admitted if they comply with the above requirements for admission. Students transferring into the College of Engineering must meet with a counselor in the Dean's Office (3304 Patrick F. Taylor Hall).
