ECE's Dr. Zhou Writes New Textbook

Dr. Kemin Zhou’s book, Introduction to Feedback Control, is being published by Prentice Hall. This undergraduate textbook covers topics of automatic control engineering. Zhou has had several other books published by Prentice Hall, including Robust and Optimal Control and Essentials of Robust Control both of which have been widely cited in the control field.
Zhou earned his PhD in Control Science & Dynamical Systems from the University of Minnesota in 1988. He is a Mark and Carolyn C. Guidry Professor in the LSU Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and specializes in robust and optimal control, system theory, fault diagnosis and fault tolerant control, and applications of advanced control theory.
