During the 2008 LSU Alumni Association’s annual meeting, College of Engineering alumni, Al Herman ‘64, and Bill Ziegler ’76, and their spouses, received the 2008 Purple and Gold Award. The Purple and Gold Award recognizes the most outstanding and loyal philanthropists who support the programs and projects of the LSU Alumni Association.
