Three engineering students were named to the 2005 Southeastern Conference (SEC) Spring Academic Honor Roll. James Presley, Kwami Roberts, and Jeffrey Wiggins, all members of the LSU Men’s Track & Field Team, were recognized for their academic achievements.

The SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2004 summer, 2004 fall and 2005 spring terms.

Presley, a biological engineering sophomore, is a Baton Rouge native and Broadmoor High School graduate. Roberts is from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and is a senior in mechanical engineering. Another senior, Wiggins is an electrical engineering major and graduate of St. Paul’s High School in Covington.

The LSU Men’s Track & Field Team continues to lead the nation, having finished in the top five for the past six seasons.

Dean Zaki Bassiouni said, “The LSU College of Engineering is proud of our student athletes and we congratulate them on their performance, both on and off the field.”
