YOU can make an impact on future engineers and construction managers
As an alumnus or friend of the LSU College of Engineering, you can help make a difference in a number of ways including:
- Encourage prospective students to consider LSU. Refer them to the LSU Office of Recruiting Services, 225-578-4335.
- Support engineering student organizations. Click here for a list of some of our student organizations
- Be an LSU Champion in your company
- Be a mentor to current LSU students by joining the Tiger Jobs Network. Contact LSU Career Services at 225-578-2162 or at career@lsu.edu
- Query your employer on possible research collaborations or philanthropic gifts to the College of Engineering. Provide any contact leads to the Engineering Office of Development at 225-578-7373.
- Double or triple the impact of your philanthropy. Click here to find out if your company matches charitable contributions.
- Volunteer to serve on one of the College's Industry Advisory Boards:
- Departmental Industry Advisory Boards (contact each respective department chair or head)

- Engineering Communications Advisory Board (contact Warren Hull @ whull1@lsu.edu )
- Make an annual gift to the College or an engineering department. Your support can help provide funds for student travel to competitions, research expenses or faculty support. - Make a campaign gift to the College as part of the FOREVER LSU campaign. A campaign gift is typically larger than an annual gift and may be paid over a period of several years. For a list of potential gift opportunities, contact the Engineering Office of Development at 225-578-7373.
- Consider an estate commitment to the College of Engineering through your will, a life insurance policy, or through a potentially tax-advantaged deferred gift (such as a charitable gift annuity or a term life trust).
