Fifth Annual Engineering Alumni Reunion
November 9, 2007, 7:00 pm
The College of Engineering held its Fifth Annual Engineering Alumni Reunion on Friday, November 9, 2007, 6:30pm – 8:30pm, in the Patrick F. Taylor Hall west entrance. Alumni and faculty mingled and enjoyed jambalaya, salad, and brownies from Jambalaya By Shake. Students of the Steel Bridge team brought their bridge. The Robotics team and the Concrete Canoe team came and gave presentations on their projects. There was great interaction between alumni and some of our outstanding students. It was a good time to learn about some of the great projects on which our students and faculty are working. Dr. Mary Beth Lima was on hand to talk about service learning and the playground project. The MEP program had a table with information as well.
One of the highlights of the Reunion was the tour of the new Engineering Residential College. John Scalzo, Associate Rector, was on hand at the ERC along with Lori Patterson from Residential Life and her team of crackerjack tour guides.
Campus Federal sponsored the musical entertainment, provided by talented music student Laurence Hebert.
Everyone had such a good time! Thank you all for coming. We hope you can return next year and bring more friends and family!
