Pre-College Programs
"Making an impact, not just an impression"
PREP's ultimate goal is to increase the pool of diverse students who enter college engineering programs by providing academic preparation and exposure to career possibilities in engineering. Many of the programs’ participants choose to attend LSU. The Pre-College Engineering Program includes the Recruitment into Engineering High Ability Multi-cultural Students (REHAMS) program, the eXploration Camp Inspiring Tomorrow’s Engineering (XCITE) program, the Marathon High School Teacher Engineering Awareness Program (HSTEAP), and the Diversity Ambassadors.
