Recruit Students and Alumni

In its history, the LSU College of Engineering has produced well respected and technically sound graduates as the Flagship University for the State of Louisiana. Early modern engineering graduates, those from 1950's - 70's, were hands-on problem solvers with exceptionally strong work ethic and leadership qualities. In the 1980's and 90's, engineering graduates from LSU learned the importance of teamwork and effective communication skills. The LSU Engineer is again on track of evolution to meet the needs of today's challenges -- your challenges. As developed in our Strategic Plan, LSU understands that its current graduates must be life-long learners, globally aware, community minded, and critical and holistic thinkers.

The LSU College of Engineering understands that its graduates are a critical asset in this nation's future and seeks to educate the next generation of engineers, researchers, and educators to solve problems for the benefit of society and to meet its future needs.
