Employee Education Award
AWARD AMOUNT: $400-$800
PURPOSE: To encourage College of Engineering classified and unclassified employees to pursue professional development and continuing education which will enhance job performance
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Employees must be performing assigned duties on target or above as per last PS- 35 or PS -39 job evaluation
- Award will be given upon successful completion of 3 credit hour course per semester
- Employee may receive the award each semester (including summer) and in consecutive years
- $400 3 credit hour; $800 6 credit hour
SELECTION PROCESS: Candidates are nominated by department managers and forwarded to the Dean of the College of Engineering. Dean will consult with the Industry Advisory Committee for selection of the most deserving candidates.
